Do I need Spotify Premium to play light shows?

Spotify Premium allows us to achieve one-of-a-kind beat synchronization for all of our custom light shows as well as supporting advanced functionality such as creating your own light shows.
Users also have the option of using YouTube (not YouTube Music) as a content source for LIGHTLINK lights shows. This is a great way to enjoy light shows without needing a paid music subscription for LIGHTLINK. YouTube synchronization is generally superior to Spotify Premium. However, creating your own light shows and Globot is not currently supported when using YouTube.
Unfortunately, other music services also do not allow LIGHTLINK to synchronize including:
- Apple Music
- YouTube Music
- Tidal
- Soundcloud
- Amazon Music
